MatchGrid can sync your schedules to popular calendar applications so coaches, players, and parents always have up-to-date game times.
Supported Calendar Apps
| App | Sync Method |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Subscribe URL or one-time import |
| Apple Calendar (iCal) | Subscribe URL or .ics file |
| Microsoft Outlook | Subscribe URL or .ics file |
| Other apps | Any app supporting iCalendar (.ics) format |
Subscribe vs One-Time Import
Subscribe (Recommended)
- Calendar stays updated automatically
- Changes in MatchGrid appear in your calendar
- No manual re-importing needed
One-Time Import
- Downloads current schedule as a snapshot
- Won’t update when changes are made
- Useful for archiving or offline use
[!TIP] Always use Subscribe for active seasons so you don’t miss schedule changes.

Troubleshooting Sync Issues
Calendar not updating?
- Check the refresh interval in your calendar app
- Google Calendar may take up to 24 hours to refresh
- Try removing and re-adding the subscription
Events showing wrong time?
- Verify your calendar app’s time zone setting
- Check the event time zone in MatchGrid
Too many events?
- Subscribe to specific team calendars instead of the full season
- Filter by division or date range
[!INFO] Calendar subscriptions are read-only. Changes must be made in MatchGrid, not your calendar app.
